Industry Pain Points

Industry Pain Points
  • The plant lacks integrated planning for warehousing and critical production processes. Materials are placed haphazardly, while irrational line layouts and logistics routes cause congestion and repeated transfers.

  • Without an effective digital operations management system, the company cannot analyse its business comprehensively across R&D, quality, planning, cost and energy efficiency, leaving decisions without a sound basis.

  • Raw-material pretreatment, cutting and sorting, assembly and welding, blasting and painting still require substantial manual labour. Low equipment automation undermines quality consistency, while the lack of systematic integration between lines prevents end-to-end monitoring.

  • The workshop lacks MES, WMS and other information systems. Production scheduling depends entirely on experience, WIP accumulates, and order progress cannot be monitored in real time or used to support production plans.

  • Restacking and turning raw materials rely entirely on manual crane handling; steel structures are blasted and painted with handheld equipment; and plate assembly and welding remain manual. Productivity is constrained, with serious safety and environmental issues.
